Who can participate in camps?

Camps opened for young people from 18 years old. Anyone could become a volunteer, it does not depend on profession, it depends just on the desire to do something useful. 12-30 volunteers take part in every camp, thus no more than 2 friends together in one camp. That is why a command consists of interethnic people.

Camps date and duration

Mostly in summer and at the beginning of autumn, rarely during the winter and spring. Camps are short-term – 2 weeks – 1 month. Although, are such camps, which last longer. Long-term volunteer (6-12 months) is other program, where all costs (visa, road, leaving, food, insurances etc.) will be return ABSOLUTELY, which we gladly will offer to you, if it will interest you.

Camp Language

English, if not any specific language is stated in the Program. There are also some camps with other languages like French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Russian etc.

Project Types

• Historical projects: archaeology, restoration of old castles and monuments;
• Ecological projects: environmental development and protection in National parks, fence or garden wall building, path making, working in the forest, planting trees or flowers etc.
• Social projects: working with handicaps, elderly people, children etc.
• Art project: related to some type of arts – music, theater and help in organization of festivals and participation in them etc.
• Other: painting, building playgrounds, hand tools repairing etc.

You can make path in Japan, carry out archaeological excavations in Spain, help in preparation to the festival in Belgium, to take part in organization of exhibition about Second World War in Germany, restoration of old castles in France, to be the leader of child's summer camp in Slovakia and other.

Work and Rest.

Volunteers work 5-6 hours daily, 5 days a week. Other time can be devoted to:

• national evenings with common preparation of meal (dishes of national kitchen);
• excursions, make a party walks by a city, visit different cultural measures which are offered accepting organization.

The voluntary – it is voluntary work, all work is unpaid (the basic idea of voluntary work – unselfish help those, who needs a help).

UNIQUENESS and ADVANTAGES of PROGRAM

1. Language practice. You do not study a language; you live among people who speak this language! Practice your own language skills in another country can not only those, who studies English / French / German, but also those, who studies the exotic languages, such as Japanese, Czech, Spanish, Chinese and other. Voluntary – is unique chance practice your language skills in countries for which these language are native.

2. «Immersion» in the culture of other countries. It is not tourist travel under the direction of guide. You will be working with local habitants and volunteers from all over the world, meeting with their traditions and way of life.

3. Informal Learning is the most popular direction in Europe. International Voluntary camps are such programs, that you can put down in your future CV.

4. And most important – communicate with people from the whole world!!! Except for the cultural enriching, you will find a lot of new friends, some of which stay for ever, and a lot of remembrance about happy life in a camp, funny situations etc.!

In an exchange on the voluntary work for participants are provided: a triple feed, accommodation and cultural program.

Accomodation

Either in a building ( house, flat, farm, sport hall, castle, youth hostel, church) or in open air (tent, caravan, boat, etc.) in any case minimum comforts well-to-do. All terms will be described in the short description of project. A sleeping bag is necessary for most of the cases if not stated other.

You will be prepare meal for you and for your friends (products are provided). So, don’t forget to take with you your favorites recipes.
